Happy Days with the Kids!

This little girl is my first baby to eat rice cereal, plain.  Look how happy she is about it. :)

So, those who know me know that I am NOT a crafty person.  However, on a rare trip to Michaels to purchase my FIRST glue gun, I saw these cute (and cheap) little birdhouses and thought it would be fun for the kids to paint them.  So, I got some brushes and paints and it was a HIT!

Maryn was a very cute observer.

 Our finished products.

The first bbq/swim of the season!

Thanks to my Sister's in-laws, we were able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather in their newly renovated backyard.  It was Maryn's first time in a pool and she seemed to enjoy it.  Kams and Logan were so excited to get out and swim.  We had a yummy bbq and had a great time spending time with my sister's family, my brother and his wife, and the Morse family who so kindly had us over.  It was one of those perfect days.

Princess and Pirate night at Chick-Fil-A

My good friend, Chrissy Taylor, invited me and the kids to go to "Princess and Pirate Night" at chick-fil-a.  It was quite the event with lots of kids running around.  I got a little overwhelmed trying to keep track of all the kids but thanks to some helping hands I survived and as seen below, the kids had a great time!  :)

E-I-E-I-OOPS!

Kamryn was adorable as a little piggy in her Kindergarten Performance.  She sang out and knew all the dance steps.  I just felt bad because her hat kept getting knocked off her head and it became a distraction to her.  However, she stayed composed and I couldn't stop smiling watching this adorable red head!

Too bad the video was too long so I can't post it.  Bother!

Kamryn doing what she does best....

Talking!  ;)

Lost Videos

So, I finally got videos on the computer from my phone thanks to my husband.  So, I am going to post some videos from our "Family Fun Week."  Enjoy!  Video Games with Daddy, Bubbles and Rollin' on water. :)

Silly and Sweet (at Chuck E Cheese)

Silly!
Sweet!
Sadly, I forgot to take more pictures.  This was the kids first time to Chuck E Cheese.  We met up with our good friends, Steph and Leo Martinez and their kids, and had a great time.

Easter Sunday

So, as seen here, Easter started out great.  Kids had their Easter Egg hunt (which I have a video of but have not figured out how to get videos on here from our phones), enjoyed their baskets, and they got all ready for church.  Then Kamryn complained that her mouth hurt.  So, we brought out the thermometer and sure enough, she had a low grade fever.  A sore throat.  So, they stayed home with their Dad while I took Maryn to church.  She looked too cute not to show off.  I didn't even bother taking a picture of the other kids in their Easter clothes since well, I was just lazy at that point and frustrated that Kamryn was sick.

We were still able to have Easter dinner with my brother and his wife, but my sister's family stayed home due to Kam's sore throat.  The day could have been totally ruined but looking at this babies face...well, it makes things alright!

Another year, different lookin' eggs.

Easter Parties!

So, the weekend after our semi-week of fun (we slowed down towards the end of the week), was Easter weekend. Friday was Kamryn's Easter party at school and since Jason had taken the day off, I got to go help with the party.  I enjoy helping out in Kamryn's classroom and I haven't been able to go since Maryn was born, so this was nice.  Kamryn's teacher does such a great job.  The easter egg hunt was a hit as well as the fun interactive snack and crafts.

In her element!  Kamryn loves school!
Our ward hosted an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday and again, kids loved it.  It was Logan's first Easter activity and he got himself a good amount of eggs!

Day 3 - Discovery Science Center

I lived by the Discovery Science Center all growing up but have never been there, until our family fun week. I heard they were having a Dora and Diego exhibit and since Logan is obsessed with Diego we thought we would take them.  They had such a great time!  I love trying new things with the family.

This was the kids favorite part of the day.  Rolling on water!

I was actually surprised Kamryn wanted to do it, but she was so excited to roll around in that huge ball!

We met my brother, Aaron and his Whitney for dinner, but sadly got no pictures.  Oops!

2nd Day - Logan's Roadhouse

The second day of our vacation we just stuck around home since Kamryn had dance class that afternoon at 4pm.  However, we still went and got ourselves free ice cream from Ben and Jerry's and for dinner we took the kids to Logan's Roadhouse for dinner.  Kids eat free on Tuesdays and they have a balloon guy there.  He made some pretty amazing balloon creations (a dog and poodle for Kamryn and a helicopter and blaster for Logan) and the kids had a great time.  However, the food was HORRENDOUS!  So, we will most likely not go there again, but it was fun for one night.  :)

Our "STAY-cation" - Beach Day

Spring Break was a flop for our family, since we were all sick with the flu.  Well, Jason had a week off from work (in between ending old job and starting his new job) so we decided to have a staycation and have some fun while still at home. The first day of fun consisted of a perfect day at the beach.  Perfect meaning there was hardly anyone there.  The kids loved it!

Eventually the winds started picking up and it got a bit chilly so it was time to head out!
We didn't want to the day to end so we decided to head to Balboa for some more fun!
We ran into an old friend, Lacee Preciado!  It was good to see her!
Logan's first time on a Ferris Wheel.  This kid has no fear.  I hate that Ferris Wheel.  Freaks me out!
We ended our day with some dinner at Rubys on the Pier.  It was perfection!

4 months old

My happy baby!  Aaah, I just love this little girl.  At 4 months, this girl was all smiles and still is.  She is definitely my most pleasant baby and even though her naps are inconsistent and she doesn't sleep through the night, well, it doesn't bother me much because she is so pleasant when she is awake.  :)
