There really is nothing like it.

Uh Oh....

This is what happens when a certain 4 year old isn't acting very nice. This is our closet. Gettin' crowded, don't ya think?

Thankful for Thanksgiving

Yes, Thanksgiving was a few weeks ago now, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't get a place on the blog. Actually, I took so few pictures, it probably doesn't need it's own post but for my own record keeping I should mention it. Thanksgiving 2010 was celebrated at my brother in law's parents house. For the past two years, they have been kind enough to invite us to their home and we have appreciated it. Always great food and even better company.

What's Thanksgiving without spending time with your cousin! Crazy kids!
Some content smiles after enjoying a fabulous meal!
Father and Son watching Football.
Didn't you know? Light sabers are a special part of Thanksgiving. You should have seen the show put on by my nephews. SO exciting. :) (Not sure why I forgot to take a picture of them)
My beautiful sister with her beautiful pies. Delicious as always!
Now onto Christmas!

The many faces of Logan.....

and I thought I would throw Kamryn in too. She's cute. :)

This is Halloween...

Kamryn had a Halloween party at her Preschool. As you can see, our first attempt at taking pictures didn't go so well. A little too much sun, I think. :)
The woman with the huge black wig is Kamryn's teacher, Miss Kristine. She is wonderful and Kamryn really loves her. It's been such a great experience thus far. Thanks to my friend Mary, who took the picture for me since I was busy holding up a tree branch that was getting in the way of the shot. My height is always good for something, it seems.
Ladies and Gentleman, may I present Sleeping Beauty and her guest, the sock monkey. :)

Isn't she beautiful?

Carvin' the Pumpkin

I did a very poor job documenting the carving of the pumpkin. Every year, I take a picture of Jason's masterpiece because they always look so great. However, this year I forgot. So, just take my word for it...the pumpkin was a masterpiece.

Pickin' the Pumpkin

So, I've really been slacking on the blog entries this last month so I have a little catching up to do. We'll start with the pumpkin patch, otherwise known as Riley's Farm. We go there every year to pick the pumpkin, say hi to some of the family and just enjoy the atmosphere. Each year we bring some friends up too and this year was no exception. We had the Bartletts, Silagyi's, Rambows, Brodericks and Taggarts join us and we had a great time. I, unfortunately, didn't get too many pictures but I'll post what I have.

Our attempt to take a family picture obviously failed. Enjoy Kamryn's backside. :)
Such a cute picture of my friend, Karissa with her two boys.
All the kids hanging out!

Playtime

I love these moments. The moments when Kamryn and Logan find a way to play together where both are happy. Makes my day so much nicer. :)

First Day of Pre-School

So, here she is on her first day of Pre-school. I've always wanted to take a "first day" picture, and what do I do? Chop her head off. Nice Mom.

Anyhow, she was excited and ready to go.
Here she is with her pal, Dylan. They are in Sunbeams together at church and they love having pre-school together too.
So far, she is doing well (besides some sharing mishaps...her life story). She comes home and we play "preschool" and she basically re-enacts the whole day for me. Her teacher is wonderful and she is getting to do so many fun things to help her learn her letters. I always love hearing what she did that day. :)

More Labor Day Fun!

We continued our Labor Day Fun and headed to Claremont's Concert in the park, not too long after we had gotten home from Riley's Farm. We were tired from our excursion at the farm, but that still couldn't stop us from enjoying our favorite band, "The Answer" play! The kids loved it and danced and played all night long. It was a great labor day!

Just another day on the Farm

On Labor Day, we took the family, including my brother Aaron and his wife, Whitney, up to Riley's Farm. We met Jason's dad up there and he treated us to lunch and a huge apple pie. We also enjoyed taking in the sites, taking a hay ride and picking raspberries (which I forgot to take a picture of).
Isn't he a good sport??
Enjoying the hay ride. Love this picture!
This picture isn't my favorite, but it's my only proof that I was there. :)
