I just had to share some adorable pictures of my ever growing, not quite a baby anymore, darling daughter. This first one is a precious daddy/daughter moment. Kamryn was still sick when I took this picture. She pretty much lived in a diaper and slept anywhere. She hasn't slept on Daddy's chest since she was an infant. So, this was a special moment for Jason. Even though he slept through most of it.
Valentines Day came and Kamryn was still sick...so you can see that she wasn't appreciating me trying to get her to open her present and act happy. Could be she was embarrased being in her unmatching pajamas. (Jason and I had a lowkey Valentines this year, but we enjoyed eating our Chilis take-out at home and watching "Fever Pitch," a romantic comedy that both boy and girl can enjoy together. Love Jimmy Fallon in this flick..)
She finally got over it and realized something fun was under that pretty paper. She loves her Mickey Mouse Puzzle.
This is what I love. Leaving her crib mattress on the ground and realizing that for her, that was the best thing I could have done that day. She had a heyday playing on her mattress with all her stuffed animals.

I love the picture of Kamryn and Jason! Glad to see she's starting to feel better and glad that you two got the chance to celebrate Valentine's Day too. Glad all is well! How fun that she plays with her stuffed animals now. I remember loving when my parents put a mattress on the floor. Just wait until she jumps from her crib onto it.

speaking of jumping onto the mattress from the bed...
Once, when I was 10, I told my brother Levi (age 7) to jump off the top bunk onto the mattress- in the cannon ball position. Amazingly, thats just what he did.
However, with a 7 year old's grasp of physics he failed to realize that the mattress was only 3 inches thick, and not really a mattress at all- it was a thin yellow styrofoam pad.
Anyway, to get to the good part, he hit that thin pad like a cannon-ball rock. And crumpled into a groaning, crying little mass, while his older brother sat back and laughed.
What a great memory. Can't wait till Kamryn tries something like that on a sibling.

She is seriously so cute! I love her little voice. I'm so glad she's getting better. There's nothing worse than a sick kid.
