Years ago, a song was dedicated to me by a guy (his name was Ken) that I "denied." We had been out on a date and when we got to my house, still sitting in my car, he leaned in for the kill. What he got was my cheek. I hadn't kissed a boy yet, at that time, and I knew he wasn't the one to be my first kiss. He seemed a little taken aback and a tad bitter, so he dedicated this song to me. It happened to be in my cd player at the time and he thought it was the perfect song to describe my cold heart. Whenever Jason hears it, he likes the fact that he was the one who "reined me in."
P.S. Don't forget to press pause on our playlist player so you don't hear two songs.

Baby shower Pics
Just thought I'd throw up some pictures of this fabulous baby shower I was thrown by three of my very close friends. Everyone had a great time and it was just fun to be surrounded by friends and family. Thanks to all who contributed and came. It meant the world to me.

Musical Monday
After owning it for over a year, Kamryn finally requested that she be able to watch "da pig movie." So, I busted out "Charlotte's Web" (the cartoon version, not the version where Julia Roberts is shaped as a spider, trying to pass off as Charlotte) and Kamryn loved it. She now watches it each morning when she wakes up and I catch glimpses of it along the way. I forgot how much I loved that movie as a kid and how much I loved the music from that movie. So, for your hearing pleasure, I'm posting my favorite song from this movie. Enjoy!

A big girl in a big bed....
It's been a few weeks now, but Kamryn has been a big girl bed and she is very excited about it. I have cuter sheets on it now, but haven't taken a picture of it yet all nice and cute. Those will come later. I love this bed and I love that Kamryn slept in it the very first night we built it. It took her no adjusting at all. :-)
You'll notice the drawers in the bed are still missing. There were some minor adjustments that still needed to be made to get those in so those were finished the following day. I'll get the complete look picture up soon.

Musical Monday Tribute
I am the first to admit that I am copying this idea from another blogger, Angie. But I love the idea so much I can't help myself. So, this week is simple enough. One of the greatest love songs from one of the greatest 80's movies. Enjoy!

Multi-tasking and Multi-Talented
Singing and playdoh....she can do it all! (Sorry you have to hear me too. I'll try to post more videos later of her singing by herself. Much more enjoyable).
"I Love to see the Temple"
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

Dolls or Lightsabers??
If you had an Uncle Dave, you'd rather play "Star Wars" too then have a tea party. :-)
We drove down to my sister's house to meet their new addition, Hailey. Isn't she beautiful?
